Why is a high response rate even important?

As with all other data, the more answers, the more reliable it is. If your response rate is low:

😔 You cannot get the full picture of your team’s well-being and miss the opportunity to be proactive about strain levels.

😔 Our algorithm has a harder time recommending the right thing for you to focus on.

😔 You don’t know if those who answered are the ones who are more satisfied or those who are least satisfied - and the fear may be that those who do not answer have simply given up on chipping in with their voice.

5 things you can do to improve the response rate.

If the root cause for the lack of response rate is based upon a worry about their anonymity, communicate again how anonymity works in the platform and what your anonymity limit is. If they still feel concerned, you can consider increasing the anonymity limit or merging some segments, until they feel more safe around your usage of the data (and learn that you are not trying to figure out who answered what on your team talks and in 1:1s).
