In Denmark, the Workplace Assessment (APV) is mandatory for all companies with employees. This requirement is stipulated in the Working Environment Act, which obligates employers to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

APV details on who, how, what, when.

How Zoios can help you measure your workplace environment.

In our module, custom survey, you can run the assessment of your workplace environment. Since you are already measuring the psychological workplace environment through the recurring Zoios surveys for well-being, you are already covered on that part of the APV. This means that you only need to send out extra surveys for the other aspects of the required areas to conduct the full APV.

Step 1. Decide what data you would like to end up with.

It is not possible to filter or segment the results in this module, meaning that you cannot see how X segment scored versus another segment. The results of a survey will be shown in one gathered pile.

Therefore, there are two ways to do the measurement:

Solution A: Send one survey to the entire organization.

This is a good choice if everyone is working at the same site and experience the same physical environment.

Pros: You only have to do one survey.

Cons: You cannot filter if they suffer with e.g. loud noise more in the Marketing department than in the Tech department.

Solution B: Create one template survey that you can duplicate and create as many as needed.

This is a good solution if you have people on different sites, countries, or buildings.

Pros: You will know where they struggle with what issues.

Cons: You will have to do several surveys and will not get one overall report, but have several.

If you go with this solution, make sure to keep it simple. Figure out what is actually important for you to know and what you will actually be valuable to work with. E.g. if you have three offices, do one survey for the employees in each office = 3 surveys.
